How we compare walking pads

  1. We start from the full market, not a few review units. We collected the Amazon listings, spec sheets and owner reviews of 46 popular walking pads, then removed duplicates and full-size folding treadmills, leaving 39. In October 2026 we added four WalkingPad (KingSmith) models, for 43 in total.
  2. We check the specs against each other. When a listing contradicts itself, for example a different belt size in the title and the spec table, we flag it in the chart instead of hiding it.
  3. We weigh what matters day to day. User weight limit, belt length and width, incline type, top speed, handrail, folding and noise, before price.
  4. We are upfront about our method. Our picks come from published specifications and owner reviews; we have not lab-tested these machines.
